A Tribute to a friend (written 12/03/12)

Tonight as I stare at a flickering candle

My mind takes me back to the place of the battle

A fight I have fought and have lost… so many times before

A fight that fixes heart to heaven, and face to floor

 

Yes I’ve read the end…… and I know we will win

But tonight my heart’s heavy and I’m worn quite thin.

Jesus your word and your words, they bring hope like “greater works than these.”

 

I shall live and not die.  For this valley is mine, and the shadow belongs to the God of most high

Fear no evil my child, He says with a smile, I will lead you to pastures, above storms and through trials.

Love is a weapon that can’t be ignored, so tonight I declare the illustrious works of The Lord

Christmas for family is just a touch from the Bridegroom

Gifts don’t mean much when the scales of life weigh too far

So take the fear of the tomb, this mere mortal Cocoon and rapture our hearts to where the butterflies bloom

It's all Yours Lord

The excitement that fills my heart now when I look in the mirror is the fact that I have absolute peace in the perfect presence of Savior. I no longer strive or try to “order” my own footsteps in this treacherous world, but rather have such contentment that God has a plan, and no matter how much it varies from the Etch-a-Sketch I have conjured up in my tainted heart I know it is the best plan. Always far more awesome than anything I could have dreamed of, or architected in my little brain, and He delivers it at exactly the right time for maximum gratification for both of us!!!! Daddy I want that, and I want it NOW is generally our frame of reference for almost everything in life, and He longs to give us the desires of our hearts, and when our hearts are more about seeking the giver rather than the gift we are coming into alignment with His Grace. I now trust Him with my physical health, business, lingering consequences of poor choices, my spirit/soul mate, because they all have been threatened, under attack, or completely obliterated over the last year and a half, and I had no options but to Trust HIM. It was all out of my control, and spiraling towards the crust of the earth at 900 miles an hour, and I just had to sit in a puddle of “me and Him” and say….. You got this? A friend and I prayed with a woman yesterday who does not know The Lord in a hospital in Nashville who is about to pay the ultimate price for poor choices as her Liver and Kidneys are shutting down, and it brought my heart to one of my deepest places despair and true humility as I prayed for Jesus to heal, deliver, and save, and at the same time looking at her jaundice filled face, and thought….. for the love of God there goes Jay Frier. I trust Him for it all, and have no intentions of trying to make it happen for myself again. His plans ROCK!!!

Power of Grace

I feel the power of God’s Grace and Mercy today like sweet spring rain when the sunlight and blue skies are just at the tip of your fingertips. We all have the ability and capacity to see deep in other people’s hearts if we will only discern the lenses through which we gaze. I think this is why God ask us to view this world, and the wounded souls that we are trudging through it with through spiritual eyes. The more I see in someone’s else’s pain the more emphasis and light it reveals on my own wounded soul. Then and only then does my heart cry out to The Father of Lights to allow me to be Jesus if for only that second or encounter. Transparency vulnerability, and humility will usher the very essence of love into the deepest trauma, and while it may not “fix” the situation, it will be part of the reflection that God will use to show the light that was emerging at the end of that tunnel. I know He has done this for me over the last year and a half, and I am a changed man. My spirit still has some work to do in the area of physical warfare, but Jesus is working that out  as well.

The Myth of Evolution

We live in a world today that absolutely defies logic and reason. What are the actual odds that a large explosion happened 13.77 Billion years ago that shot this little planet we call earth in just the right galaxy, just the perfect distance from the sun, with a moon just the right distance from the earth to keep the orbits, years, days and night in perfect order, with temperatures within a limited range (>0 <50 degrees Centigrade), the presence of liquid water, an atmosphere containing some but not too much oxygen (too much is poisonous), food sources which supply us with carbohydrates, protein and certain minerals necessary for life, a magnetic shield to block the most aggressive radiation and a number of other factors such as heat, nitrogen ,and various other chemicals. Plants and trees that were capable of turning the carbon dioxide back into oxygen.  Then from this rare occurrence in the cosmos “life” just happened to evolve from non-living matter…..The odds of which scientifically are one out of ten to the 340 millionth power!!! Call it 100% impossible in laymen’s terms, but scientist never want to camp long on the subject for “abiogenesis” which is the implausible theory that life just “happened” one day about 3.9 Billion years ago. The fairy-tale gets better……

From there this single celled organism then decided to mutate into sea worms that became fish that walked up out of the water, and evolved into land animals, that turned into monkeys, that morphed into humans.  Now keep in mind we can’t find the millions of fossils from these transitional forms between us and monkeys, or any other species we see on this planet, but we are supposed to just believe the fairy-tale. Scientist will tell you they have these fossils, but a fractured skull here, or a jaw bone there, does not come close to the millions of fossils that we should find from the these MILLIONS of supposed “missing links”. Why do scientists say that the alligator and crocodile are still in their original forms from 240 million years ago, and other species have evolved into completely new species? Are alligators and crocodiles excluded from the evolutionary process…? How sad for them. I love all the technical talk the evolutionist try to throw around when talking about DNA, Chromosomes, Proteins and such. These are just the fingerprints of God if you ask me, but they say that the Chimpanzee and Gorilla have 24 pairs of Chromosomes and we have 23, so we must be related. They neglect to tell you that a grain of rice and a snail both have 24 pairs of Chromosomes as well, so are we related to rice? Humans have 99% of the same DNA gene structure as a mouse, and that my friends is why we use mice and rats for experiments, but that does not make us related. Here are a few questions that completely stump the evolutionist. How did sex originate? How did blind chemistry create mind/ intelligence, meaning, altruism and morality? Why is evolution not happening right now? Scientist will tell you that it is, but it’s just too slow for us to observe, but then why monkeys are still monkeys, and humans still human, and no transitional forms between us and them alive today? Crickets……….

WOW…. Compelling words from the father of evolution.

My point in this blog is just that we don’t sit around like blind sheep the way we have for 50+ years and not stand up and vehemently protest when we know we, and our children are being fed lies. It takes far more “faith” to believe the ridiculous story I just recited to you then to believe that God created all of this. We see intelligent design in every aspect of our lives all around us, and to believe that this all just appeared out of some primordial soup is preposterous. We are mere mortal men that use just a small percentage of our brains at any one time, and there is a certain arrogance in thinking that (we) have the answers. Science, by its very nature, is never capable of proving the non-existence of anything…. So yes my faith in Jesus is very strong because I have tangible evidence in my own life of Him, and the rest of “this” evolution, abortion, God in schools, gay agendas, a government bent of Socialism, kids shooting each other every week in school because all they digest on video games and TV is hate, rape, and murder…. I could ramble on a long time my friends, but the point is when we took the plunge to remove the God from Schools (I am speaking of Prayer in June 25th 1962) and decided to legalize and fund the murders of innocent children that have no voice in January 1972, and this country went into a moral, social, and religious decline over the last 50 years that cannot be ignored.

Who will stand and demand that the farce of evolution be exposed, and the proper teaching of our forefathers, and Jesus Himself be evident and rule once more?

Things to think about

It is early 2013 and we are spending at least $100.00 every time we visit the grocery store, and gas is almost $4.00 a gallon, and everything from a “crown” at your dentist office, to an oil change has doubled or tripled in price.  The economy is still in the tank, our government is over 16 Trillion dollars in debt, the dollar is declining in its value daily, and almost half of the citizens in the United States are on some form of entitlement program. Our children are glued to cell phones, I-Pads, or video consoles showing them how to murder, rob, and rape more efficiently, and we wonder why mass shootings are happening all over our country.  Since we can’t look in the mirror for fear of the guilt, we look at guns and bullets and put the blame squarely on them where we can avoid responsibility as a nation. We took God and prayer out of schools, legalized the murders of over 55 Million our innocent children, and have let perverted sexual schemes from the pornography industry, to the homosexual agenda dictate our legislation, arts, media, education, and personal lives of us and our children without uttering a word. Now to stand in the face of these injustices as true followers of Jesus, we are made to look like narrow-minded, bigoted, ignorant, backward fools….. And Jesus Himself said we would. (2 Timothy 3:12 – 1 Corinthians 2:14) Most Americans would agree that they believe in their hearts and minds that God “created” this earth, plants, animals, and mankind, but we submit like sheep to the science-minded that only Evolution can be taught in our schools. I remind you that Evolution is still only a theory, thus it cannot, nor will it ever be proven, despite what the scientific communities may choose to believe…. Odd that’s the term (believe or faith) that they choose to laugh at us creationist about, and yet it takes for more faith to “believe” that non-living matter suddenly became a living organism (ameba) that turned into a fish, that swam up out of the ocean, that turned into a monkey, that turned into a human…..

Please don’t get me wrong readers…. I am a very open minded Christian as it relates to religion, legalism or even many sciences, and I think we as The Church have done a terrible job of ministering to the homosexual, the other abortion victim(s), the prostitute, the stripper, and the millions who deal with a pornography addiction that is destroying marriages. And yes to my sweet evolutionist friends that clearly don’t grasp the reality of faith or belief, to the addict or idolater, (and those two words are deliberately interchangeable) and to the seekers, believers, haters, and skeptics.  If you choose to follow my ever processing train of thought please be respectful, courteous, as I will certainly do the same. In no way do I think that I have any of the topics that are covered on this web page 100% correct, but I do think (as noted above) that we as a nation have lost our way, and God (Namely Jesus) is calling us back to Him.
